"With So Many Registry Repair Programs Now Claiming
to be the Best, Which One Should You Trust?"

From Chris: Celebrating 7 Years Online This Month!
RE: Results of My Registry Repair Bench Test
Hey, Chris here. If you're not one of my regular subscribers, let me quickly tell you a little about myself ...and then I'll show you the results of my latest Registry Repair Bench Test. I'll tell you about the only products I found that "Boosted" performance and "Eradicated" problems from my test computer.

FREE Registry Scan

Ok... As many of you already know, I've been a successful computer software developer / technician since 1999. The purpose of this study was to end, once and for all, the question I am constantly asked by not only my subscribers, but also my friends and family.

What Registry Repair Program is Tops?

Which program will keep your computer's registry clean while helping to speed it up in the process? It also must not "bog down" your computer. Some of the Registry Fix programs I tested where so heavy on your system resources, it seems you would be better off dealing with the errors and lack of performance you would get from not cleaning your registry!

Here's the Deal

The Windows Registry is like “engine” behind the Windows Operating System. Unfortunately as we use our computers more and more this engine gets full of clutter in the form of misplaced data, bad programs, or simply overload. This clutter slows down your computer and starts causing crashes and errors.

Most computer problems are a direct cause of a damaged Registry.  For example, if you’ve experienced any of these problems listed below, your Registry needs help:

Runtime Error- Any error that happens when a program is running or trying to run..
ActiveX Error- ActiveX errors are caused by miss-configured add-ons and browser settings.
DLL Error -DLL files are support files. Errors often occur because of installation or removal of programs.
.exe Error - Extra or incorrect entries in the system registry can cause .exe errors during system or program startup
General Protection Fault - Usually caused by a program that violates windows memory allocation.
Blue Screen of Death - One of the worst errors the only way to fix it is to reboot and hope it doesn't happen again.
Windows Explorer Error - Explorer is the GUI of windows and is often susceptible to corruption.
iExplore or iExplorer Error - Errors often occur in Internet Explorer because of toolbars, and browser add-ons
Access Violation -A memory error that occurs when one application access memory not allocated for it.
System32 Error - Windows system error caused by missing or corrupt system files.
Windows Installer Error - Usually appears after failed installation of MSI Package or Disabled "Windows Installer" service.

The Test

I set up my bench test like this. I had an old Dell laptop that I hadn't used for quite a while. It was configured about the same as your ordinary every day computer, not too fast, not too slow about middle of the road performance. It had Windows® XP SP2 installed from when I originally bought it. I used Norton Ghost to clone the hard drive so that each Registry Repair program would have the same exact windows environment.

Here's an overview of both... and make sure you read my conclusion at the end...

Testimonial

"I was ready to throw my computer away! There were so many error messages. I couldn’t understand what any of them meant. Thank goodness RegCure did. It took care of all of them and got my machine performing at its best again."

Surprisingly, I almost didn't even test this product. I had heard very little about ParetoLogic RegCure™ but when a colleague of mine heard about my "little test" as he called it, he asked me to include this little known product, so I decided to give it a shot.

I was shocked by the results. Not only did it find more registry errors than any of the other programs I tested, it did so faster than all the rest of my test subjects.

Simply put, RegCure™ works. It will leave you with a clean computer that performs the way it's supposed to. Not one that is bogged down by a power-intensive 'registry cleaning program' that makes it impossible to get any work done without wanting to pull your hair out in the meantime!

...and you can see my conclusions below...

I wasn't surprised a bit when Registry Mechanic 8™ came out near the top of my test. Registry Mechanic has been in the registry cleaning business for years, so one can assume that they know how to do something's correctly.

Well, their Registry Mechanic 8™ product managed to find and repair a ton of registry errors. In fact it found almost as many errors as the RegCure™ program did and came in second on my errors found part of the test.

I will have to admit that it was about average in terms of 'speed' when I scanned the hard drive, however I can only attribute that to its 'thoroughness' as Registry Mechanic 8™ makes a very detailed backup of your registry in case you need to restore it to a previous state..

For the majority of users, I would have to suggest ParetoLogic RegCure™. It's hard not to considering the facts:
